Fall Sports Parent Night – 8/21

The Blake Athletic Department will be hosting a Fall Sports Parent Night on Monday, August 21st. Parents of Fall student-athletes are encouraged to attend. There will be a brief general meeting in the Blake Cafeteria starting at 6:30pm. General policies and procedures will be covered, as well as information about our Booster Club and parent

Fall Sports Picture Days

Fall sports will have team and individual pictures taken on the days scheduled below. Students will receive order forms distributed by coaches in advance of the picture days. Boys Soccer Tryout Information

Tryouts for the Blake Boys Soccer program will begin on Wednesday, August 9th from 9am-12pm. Students should bring all Required Forms (Formularios en Español) in order to participate in tryouts. We will meet on the practice field (below the stadium).  Tryouts will continue on Thursday, 8/10, Friday, 8/11 and Saturday, 8/12 from 9am-12pm each day.

Fall Sports Tryouts – August 9th!

Fall sports are scheduled to begin as early as August 9th for most sports. A complete list of sports, tryout information, coach contacts and available summer conditioning schedules can be seen on the Tryouts page of our website. Required Forms can be printed off the Blake website here. 

New JV Boys Soccer Coach!

The Blake Athletic Department is excited to announce the hiring of Andres Moreno as the new JV Boys Soccer coach, effective in the Fall 2017 season. Coach Moreno has a long history of coaching at the high school and club levels. Most recently, Coach Moreno held the Varsity Head Coach position at Linganore High School.

Boys Soccer Summer Workouts

The Blake Boys Soccer coaching staff will be holding optional conditioning workouts to prepare for the upcoming Fall season. The schedule is below. Workouts will begin on May 22nd and will run through July 26th. Tuesdays: Weight room, 3:30pm-4:45pm Thursdays: Conditioning on the soccer practice field, 3:30pm-4:45pm.  Please contact Coach Nougais Metellus if you have
