Blake’s Swim and Dive team competed at the prestigious Washington Metropolitan Swim and Dive Invitational (Metros) at Germantown Indoor Swim Center.
The Blake Boys finished 15th as a team, competing against public and private schools from the DC area. The Bengals were led by Jonik Surprenant, who made finals in 100 Fly and 500 Free. Ethan Badrian placed third in the diving, setting a new school record for score in 11 dives. Johnny Martin also placed in the 50 Free. Blake also scored in two relays (200 Medley and 400 Free).
Blake’s Girls team did not score, but had a number of outstanding performances. Alaina Hallmark was the top performer for the Bengals, swimming season best times in the 50 and 100 Freestyle events.
